While hanging by his mouth from a rope,
his tooth was yanked out with a jolt.
His head’s on a bit tighter,
otherwise he just might-a
lost that as well, the little dope.

An abbreviated list of items Max has lost:

Why does he lose things? “I don’t know. They just disappear. They just get away from me so quickly.”

The most valued item he has lost: The toy plastic missile he shot up the chimney.

A book he’s lost: Spiderman. “I was sad and mad, but then I found it. Now I’ve memorized most of it, so it doesn’t matter.”

    Max is a forward thinker. He can’t be held back by having to remember stuff like passwords, legos, and money.
