Just you and me. |
At its best, the day was going to be spent grocery shopping, and at its worst it looked as if I would be locked in a laundromat, washing a night’s worth of soiled blankets, but instead the day turned into a series of small, sweet surprises.
- I ordered my groceries online and scheduled them to be delivered in the afternoon.
- I inspected the laundry and discovered only one blanket needed laundering, and it fit in my washing machine.
- The sun shined. For hours.
Oh, happy, happy day.
Unexpected bliss. Perfect.
Amazing how such small things can make a day.
a lovely roster of blessings… a good way to start the week
happy sunshine. i love the picture. so sweet. hugs.
An addendum:
When my groceries arrived, it came with a bouquet of free flowers. When night arrived, my littlest went to bed early, and I spent the last hours of my day with a bar of chocolate and a book; a sweet ending to a sweet day.
