Summer ended with song and sweetness around here. This morning’s blackberry picking yielded a single jar of jelly, which later was enjoyed on the stoop with toast and tea while listening to Esperanza Spalding’s “Chim Chim Cher ee,” the perfect song to welcome autumn.
Nice. I do hope you get at least a few glimpses of blue this fall/winter/spring.
Esperanza is so beautiful! What a wonderful way to enjoy a morning.
Lovely post.
Andrea, I’m sending the same wish your direction.
Beth, thank you! We’re comrades-in-arms — 4 kids — though you trump me with all boys.
I thought I commented on this post. Maybe I forgot because I clicked through to the Esperanza’s video. I love her music! It does really remind me of this time of year. So beautiful. Love, Kyndale
I love the photo! Love to you all!!
Thank you, Aunt June. We miss you!
