After a morning brimming with appointments and errands, we paused for a game of cards, with rules that kept changing and I didn’t mind. I hope there will be moments of quiet in your week, too.

    Yes, my Norby will be colored Button-Jar green. It’s the prettiest color, though a wee scratchy. I plan to sew in to its interior a band of flannel if it proves irksome.

    The Norby shawl is gorgeous. Maybe one day I’ll get up the courage to make one.
    And what about the coffee do you love? Is it nice and smooth? The company seems wonderful.

    Beth, Kuma coffee is deliciously rich, but not bitter, and I’d like to say I pick up the honey notes, etc, but I don’t, I just get a kick out of the description. And you’re right, Wool People’s shawls are stunning. I wish my work looked half as good. Instead, my socks are filled with uneven stitches and my hats resemble overturned bowls, but I keep hoping!
